Maggiano's Little Italy (2000 Route 38, Cherry Hill, NJ)

As part of Philadelphia Section AIHA’s 2026-2027 educational program, we invite you to join us on Thursday October 29, 2026 for a discussion on the role ethical behavior plays in our personal and professional lives. Attendees will learn about ethical dilemmas unique to the EHS fields, how moral courage can come into play and how to use various tools for resolving a range of ethical conflicts.  This meeting is being sponsored by SGS Galson.

Nancy Orr has over 45 years of experience in the occupational safety, health, and environmental protection fields. She began as an OSHA Compliance Officer, worked as a field industrial hygienist with two insurance companies and as a Manager of EHS for ITT Corporation. Prior to retiring she was the Global Director of EHS for Becton Dickinson and Co, a multi-national medical device and life sciences company, where she had worked for 20 years. She has served on local and national AIHA Committees, including the JIHEEC. Nancy has a deep interest in ethics and has shared this enthusiasm in the form of PDCs, and seminars sponsored by National AIHA, ASSP and local and regional professional meetings. She is currently a member of the Executive Board of Safety 4 Nonprofits, Inc – a nonprofit devoted to providing pro-bono safety services to other nonprofits.
