Welcome to 2019!
I am excited to be the President of the AIHA-Sacramento Valley Section. A special thanks to Patrick Corcoran for his service as 2018 President. It is my hope and desire to continue to host interesting, current and engaging section meetings leveraging our collective expertise and networks to create member value and contribute to our professional development in the coming year.
Your Board is planning our future meetings in February, April, May, July, September (Field trip and Social) and December (Awards Luncheon). Specific dates to be noticed by email and posted here. Additional sponsored activities include the 3rd annual California Industrial Hygiene Council (CIHC)/SVS Industrial Hygiene Summiton March 13th in Sacramento; and the PDC with the Sacramento Chapter of the ASSP on October 1st.
I encourage all of us to volunteer for presentations and/or participate on one of our working committees or special events. Share your talents with like minds! Together, we can work towards common goals that give meaning to our OEHS profession. I look forward to addressing challenges and creating innovative opportunities for our members. Please join me!
