Lunch Meeting and Technical Presentation: PPE Fit Testing -- What's on the Horizon?

Presenter: Sheri Franklin Smith, 3M subject matter expert; Jennifer Castle, 3M Local Representative

Description: "PPE Fit Testing: What's on the Horizon?" will provide state-of-the-art information on fit testing of personal protective equipment. There is a push for mandatory requirements for PPE fit testing that goes beyond just respirator fit testing.

Cost: Member with lunch $20; Non-member with lunch $30; Attend without lunch $5; Students attend for free.

SMUD COVID-19 Meeting Guidance

In an effort to minimize the potential spread of COVID-19, each attendee using meeting & training rooms must follow SMUD’s safety protocols which include;

  • Perform a wellness check prior to the event, and do not attend if you are experiencing any COVID related symptoms
  • Use approved sanitization supplies to wipe down surfaces used by each attendee
  • Practice physical distancing when possible
  • Maintain good hygiene and use available hand sanitizer stations
  • Follow all posted signs
  • Limit over-crowding the space
