OSHA Technical Center - Salt Lake

Our first meeting of 2024 highlighted a return to the OSHA Technical Center in Salt Lake, which had become unavailable since the start of the pandemic! Presenting was Drew Forbes, our newest local section Director.

Our annual meeting highlighted by recognition of previous and upcoming leaders, scholarship awards, Student Local Section presentations, and annual luncheon, food drive and raffle. Thank you all for a great year!

September Meeting

This meeting was kicked off by a technical session about Exposure Decision Analysis with Dr. John Mulhausen, an AIHA member since 1980, AIHA president from 2021-2022, AIHA Board member in 1998-2001, now member of AIHA’s Exposure Assessment Strategies Committee. Our next award cycle for student scholarships and the Meritorious Achievement Award has begun! See our "Scholarships and Awards" page for more info.

August Meeting
4 August 2023 (Friday), 12:00 PM MT
Savage Training Room – 901 W Legacy Center Way, Midvale, UT

Attended by 23 LS members, this meeting was highlighted by presentations about the Exposure Decision Analysis (EDA) registry program, student and membership engagement, and a visit from AIHA Director Bryan Seal, PhD, CIH, CSP, CHMM, CEHS! Our membership has nearly completely recovered from the COVID pandemic period, and the local section is engaged in developing a website and committees to advance member engagement.
