National AIHA is the source for providing the latest information and resources regarding Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety related issues. Founded in 1939, AIHA National is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to protecting worker’s health and safety. The organization is dedicated to the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of contaminants and stressors that may cause sickness, illness, and impairment among workers and the public.
The San Diego American Industrial Hygiene Association (SDAIHA) Local Section is a regional subdivision of National AIHA. Our mission is to promote the purposes of National American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) within the geographic boundaries of San Diego.
This website was create to engaged and informed our members and associates of the various activities happening in SDAIHA.
SDAIHA holds bi-monthly presentation meetings, training events, and/or tours. These meetings provide members with the latest industrial hygiene hot topics and innovations, networking and continuing education opportunities. In addition, the section sponsors at least one Professional Development Symposium (PDS) every year.
