Officers
President: Aaron Bankhead
Aaron is the Corporate Industrial Hygiene and U.S. Safety Manager for Hexcel Corporation. His twenty years of professional experience includes leading site and global teams in developing, implementing, and improving world-class environmental, occupational health and safety programs (EHS) at large (Fortune 50) and small organizations. He recognizes the tangible value that strong EHS programs bring to organizations. Aaron is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and holds a BS degree in Environmental Management from Arizona State University and an MPH in Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Health from the University of Michigan.
Past President: Dee Huddleston
From a young age Dee had an artistic desire to support and mentor people in the field of applied science. She was a pioneer student in the Lincoln Public Schools Science Focus Program (Lincoln, Nebraska), received an Associates in Applied Science in Occupational Safety and Health Technology in Phoenix, Arizona and holds a bachelor’s degree in Professional Art with a Minor in Biology from Doane University in Crete, Nebraska.
President Elect: Ryan Whitney
Ryan Whitney is an Environmental Biologist and Senior Industrial Hygienist for Environmental Forensic Consultants, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health. He has experience in a plethora of industries including manufacturing, mining, construction, building science, agriculture, and healthcare. Ryan is excited to help lead and support the local AIHA Arizona Chapter as well as being involved nationally.

Aaron Baldwin
Aaron Baldwin is a Sr. Industrial Hygienist at Salt River Project, a key water and electric power provider in Phoenix. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Arizona. Aaron has a robust background in manufacturing, consulting, and utilities, dedicated to enhancing workplace safety and health. Aaron has served on the AZ-AIHA board for several years in different roles including President, demonstrating a strong commitment of giving back to the safety and industrial hygiene community while encouraging others to pursue a career in health and safety.

Secretary: Novi Wong
Novi Wong, CIH CSP is a principal IH consultant with Novzone LLC located in Tempe, AZ. She has a MS degree in public health from San Diego State University and a BS degree in chemical engineering from University of Arizona. Novi has over 20 years of experience working in semiconductor, biotech, chemical and consumer goods manufacturing industries. She has also served as secretary for the AIHA Upper Midwest and Northern California local sections. Novi enjoys mentoring early EHS professionals and contributing to worker protection.
Secretary Elect: Maggie Murphy
Maggie Murphy is an industrial hygienist and assistant director of research safety at the University of Arizona. She is a certified safety professional and certified industrial hygienist.
Treasurer: Christina Collins
Christina Collins is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional. She is currently employed by Central Arizona Project as a Senior Industrial Hygienist and has been working in the field of Industrial Hygiene for over 20 years in both the consulting and government sectors. She received both her BS in Environmental Science and her Master of Public Health from the University of Arizona. She has held positions on the AIHA-Arizona Local Section Board for the past 18 years as Treasurer and Treasurer-Elect.
Treasurer Elect: Siena Hall
Siena is the 4-Corners Regional Sales Manager for REPSS, specializing in helping industrial hygienists and safety professionals to determine the best equipment for their monitoring needs. Previously, Siena spent 6 years as a health and safety engineer in the aerospace and defense industry focusing on industrial hygiene programs. She also was the Health, Safety and Environmental Leader at the Honeywell N95 Mask Plant in Phoenix. Siena has both a BS in Public Health and a Master of Public Health in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Arizona.
Student Section Representative: Pedro Flores Gallardo
Pedro Flores Gallardo is a PhD student in Environmental Health Sciences with a minor in Health Behavior and Health Promotion in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH) at the University of Arizona. He obtained his M.S in Chemistry from Ohio University and his B.A. in Chemistry from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Prior to returning to his doctoral studies, he worked as an analytical chemist, industrial hygiene coordinator, and EHS manager in both higher education and the private sectors. His current research focuses on chemical exposures in marginalized communities and occupational settings where health disparities are prevalent. He investigates intervention effectiveness by intertwining risk perceptions and risk exposure assessments of chemical exposures in small workforces using both quantitative and qualitative data analysis and methodologies. Furthermore, his research aims at influencing policy by identifying and addressing gaps in the regulation of chemical products that adversely affect workers’ health.
Student Section Representative Elect: Tomas Pramod
Tomas Pramod is pursuing his MPH in Environmental and Occupational Health with an emphasis in Industrial Hygiene at the University of Arizona. He expects to graduate in May 2025, and after graduation hopes to stay in Arizona to pursue a career in worker safety and health. He is eager to support the AIHA - Arizona Local Section Board as a student representative.
