President:

Dylan is the in-house industrial hygienist for REPSS; specializing in helping health and safety professionals select and sample with the proper equipment for their monitoring needs. Dylan spent 3 years at the University of Arizona as a research project manager. His work focused on the respiratory protection of firefighters at various stages of fighting fires. Since, Dylan has worked as an industrial hygiene consultant and has continued to support the University of Arizona with educational session on instrumentation and research equipment.
Past President: Cary B. Gherman, CIH CSP

Mr. Cary B. Gherman, CIH CSP has over 45 years of experience in developing managing and leading Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) for a wide variety of companies including Aerospace, Electronics, Chemical, and Automation industries. Cary received is BS in Environmental Sciences from Rutgers University in 1978 and his MS in Public Health/Industrial Hygiene from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1980.
President Elect: Dee Huddleston
Dee Huddleston is the Principal Industrial Hygienist for FMF Pandion. From a young age Dee had an artistic desire to support and mentor people in the field of applied science. She was a pioneer student in the Lincoln Public Schools Science Focus Program (Lincoln, Nebraska), received an Associates in Applied Science in Occupational Safety and Health Technology in Phoenix, Arizona and holds a bachelor’s degree in Professional Art with a Minor in Biology from Doane University in Crete, Nebraska.
2nd year Director: Robyn Steiner, CIH CSP

Robyn Steiner is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional. She is currently employed by Atlas Technical Consultants as a Principal Certified Industrial Hygienist in their Tempe office. She manages the Tempe Industrial Hygiene Department and functions as a technical resource for the other nine Western branches along with coordinating the Atlas Industrial Hygiene group nationwide. Robyn has been working in the field of Industrial Hygiene for over 25 years in both the consulting and private manufacturing sectors. She received her BS in Environmental Science from Boise State University and her Master of Science Public Health (MSPH) from San Diego State University. Robyn is returning to the Arizona AIHA Local Board after an absence of almost twenty years.
1st Year Director: Eric Lyding

Eric Lyding is a State of Arizona certified Professional Engineer (P.E.) as an Environmental Engineer. He is currently employed by Terracon Consultants, Inc. as a Project Environmental Engineer in their Tempe, AZ office. Eric has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering (Arizona State University, 2003). He has worked as an environmental consultant since 2005 and began working for Terracon’s Tempe, Arizona office in 2010.
Secretary: Krysta Myers, MPH CIH

Krysta Myers is a University of Arizona Graduate with an MPH and most recently a CIH. She is currently employed by Honeywell Aerospace, a Global Fortune 100 Company who manufactures aircraft engines and avionics. In her role as a Health, Safety and Environmental Manger, she ensures compliance with national and company standards to protect the health and safety of those employed onsite. She currently serves as Secretary Elect for the Arizona AIHA local section.
Secretary-Elect: Sharon Shindel, CIH CSP

Sharon Shindel holds an MS in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and recently retired from the Global EHS team at Intel Corporation after 27 years. Sharon is active with Safety for NonProfits (S4NP) and is a member of the AIHA Non-Ionizing Radiation Committee. Sharon has received both CIH and CSP certifications.
Treasurer: Christina Collins, CIH CSP

Christina Collins is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional. She is currently employed by Central Arizona Project as a Senior Industrial Hygienist and has been working in the field of Industrial Hygiene for over 20 years in both the consulting and government sectors. She received both her BS in Environmental Science and her Master of Public Health from the University of Arizona. She has held positions on the AIHA-Arizona Local Section Board for the past 18 years as Treasurer and Treasurer-Elect.
Treasurer-Elect: Sheila Gwizdak

Sheila is currently a Senior Industrial Hygienist working in Product Safety at ASM. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree at the University of Arizona, Sheila began her career in the Industrial Hygiene field by joining the Air Force in 1996 in Bioenvironmental Engineering. After the Air Force, she began her civilian career as an Industrial Hygienist working for the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Since then, she has managed Industrial Hygiene programs for the Army at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, and Headquarters, Bureau of Land Management.
Student Section Representative: Sam Sneed

Sam is currently a second year Master of Public Health student at the University of Arizona. He has over a year of experience working in environmental health research projects focused on understanding how to reduce environmental exposures in minority populations. Most recently, Sam completed a Safety and Industrial Hygiene internship at Central Arizona Project. Sam received his BS in Public Health from the University of Arizona
